Yes. The Community plan is free and permanent. Free launches go live in a daily queue, the earliest on the day after you schedule. Add the Needle badge to your homepage so we can verify the listing, or pick a Spotlight plan to skip that step.
Do I get a dofollow backlink?
Yes, on every plan, free or paid. Your listing links straight to your website with a dofollow link. Paid plans buy placement and a skipped badge check, not the link.
How long does my listing stay up?
For good. The product page has no expiry and no renewal fee; it stays live until you change it. Only paid pins and sponsored placements run for a set number of days.
How does Product of the Week work?
Every Monday the previous week (Monday to Sunday, UTC) is frozen. Launches are ranked by upvotes cast that week by people other than the owner, the top 3 become Product of the Week, and the week keeps a permanent page. Winners get a badge they can embed on their site.
Can AI assistants find my listing?
Listing pages are rendered on the server with SoftwareApplication structured data, listed in our sitemap, and open to AI crawlers in robots.txt, so search engines and assistants can read them like any other page.
Do I need a Needle Search plan to list?
No. The directory is separate from Needle Search. You only need a free Needle account to submit and manage your listing.
