Use case
Turn real customer conversations into content
A content strategy is a short list of topics you will write about, who each piece is for, and where it goes. The hard part for founders is picking topics buyers care about. The answer is usually already public: people describe their problems, ask for tool recommendations, and argue about trade-offs on Reddit, Hacker News, Stack Overflow, and GitHub. Needle finds those threads so your topics come from buyers, not guesses.

How it works
- Step 1
Collect the exact words buyers use
Run a Manual search on the problem, not your brand ("how do I…", "alternatives to…", "what do you use for…"). Save the phrases people repeat. They become headlines, H2s, and FAQ questions as written.
- Step 2
Group threads into three or four content pillars
Sort what you saved into a few recurring themes, such as the core problem, how people solve it today, and the objections they raise. Every piece you publish should fit one pillar.
- Step 3
Match each theme to a format
Repeated "how do I" questions become how-to guides. "X vs Y" and "alternatives to" threads become comparison pages. Complaints about current tools become opinion posts and landing page copy.
- Step 4
Watch what is rising before you write
Trending Problems shows which problems are picking up across communities. On paid plans, Auto Search reruns your brand search on a schedule you choose, so new questions land in one tab instead of a pile of bookmarks.
- Step 5
Answer in the thread, then publish
Reply helpfully where the question was asked first. If the same question keeps coming up, that is your next article. Link to it only when it answers what was asked.
