Trending Problems shows what's gaining momentum across Reddit, GitHub, YouTube, Stack Overflow, and Hacker News. Use it to validate ideas and spot opportunities before they're obvious to everyone.
What you see
- Topics - Themes and pain points that are heating up (e.g. "async burnout", "tool sprawl", "pricing transparency").
- Sentiment - Whether discussions are mostly positive, negative, or mixed. High negative sentiment often means real, unmet need.
- Activity - How much the topic is being discussed so you can gauge urgency and reach.
How to use it
- Open Trending Problems from the dashboard.
- Browse by time window (e.g. last 7 days) and platform if needed.
- Click a topic to see sample posts and threads.
- Run Manual search on the same topic for full results and intent scoring.
Validating your idea
- Negative sentiment + rising volume - People are frustrated; opportunity to solve.
- "Looking for" / "recommend" language - High intent; they're searching for solutions.
- Comparison threads - "X vs Y", "alternatives to Z" show active evaluation; good for positioning.
